Government/Industry Meetings

The Defense Standardization Program Office occasionally particpates in conferences, workshops, or meetings attended by other government employees and industry representatives that address standardization or other DSPO mission areas. Described below are events that focus on standardization, parts management, diminishing manufacturing resources and materiel shortages, or related topics, along with links to websites offering details on the respective agendas, costs, and registration information.


    Parts Standardization and Management Committee (PSMC) Meeting

    The PSMC is a government/industry forum, chartered in 2006, to advise DSPO in the development of parts management policy, procedures and guidance. The PSMC’s goal is to establish parts management best practices across DoD to increase weapon system operational availability and reduce life-cycle costs. Please note that attendance at the meeting is limited to PSMC participants.
